WOOTTON EXPECTED TO RETURN
Peterborough United’s on loan defender Scott Wootton is expected to return to the side for the visit of Coventry City, which is a major boost for Peterborough United. The club are currently having a number of players on the injury table, and the absence of Scott Wootton would have added to the troubles for Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson. Darren Ferguson is currently without the services of captain Grant McCann, as he has been ruled out for more than six weeks with the knee ligament injury.
In this situation, the return of Scott Wootton will be one of the most pleasing sights for Darren Ferguson. The club are currently in the mid-table, but they need the presence of their first-team players in order to challenge for the play-off positions. As of now, they are a massive seven points of the play-offs positions, but the return of Scott Wootton along with Grant McCann in the future will help Darren Ferguson. The club lost the home match against Barnsley 4-3, while they could only draw in the away match against Leicester City. However, the return of important players for the visit of Coventry City will certainly provide Darren Ferguson with much-needed confidence.

Further, they will also have to entertain a resurgent Birmingham City side. Middlesbrough are currently challenging for an automatic promotion spot, while Birmingham are currently only a few places above Peterborough United. The visit to Nottingham Forest will also not be easy, as they are fighting against relegation.
